At present there is a phenomenon for high and new technology industry, the finance and other industry which products update faster or large population mobility needed. The employees who mastered the core technology of knowledge or other resources of enterprise leave the existing enterprise to set up a new business.Such employees are mostly in technology position or comprehensive management department.Start-up companies are engaged in business which is the continuation of the original enterprise business or broaden the service of products. Some of the start-up enterprise open up new markets using technology, explore new opportunities and develop new market segment.Whether to continue in the same field or convert to another new start-ups,the new enterprise may be the competitor to the original enterprises.Entrepreneurs as the core figure of venture enterprises, the entrepreneurial intellectual endowments play a vital role for start-ups.How to classify the entrepreneurial knowledge, how the knowledge transfer affect the entrepreneurial activities of entrepreneurs and what factors can affect in this process? There are still a series of troubling problems. This study examines how different entrepreneurship knowledge such as technical knowledge and marketing knowledge impact the spin-outs' organizational learning strategies(exploration or exploitation)by inheritance, and the role of the parent firm and the similarity in this context.Using knowledge-based and learning views of the firm,we propose that the choice of learning strategies for spin-out is related to learning strategies. Results based on a questionnaire survey support these arguments.Additionally.parent firm support don't have any moderating effect for the technical knowledge influence on exploration and the marketing knowledge influence on exploitation, whereas high market similarity to the parent firm increased the negative effect of two kinds of relationship.
