| As an essential result of product design,product architecture has direct impacts on cost and time,product innovation,competitive advantage,supply chain management,platform leadership and business model innovation in the implementation of an enterprise innovation strategy.And it reflects on business performance in costs and benefits,efficiency,coordination and control,and so on.Although the current researches and related literatures studies the roles of product architecture in product innovation,more of them are limited to staticization and lack of contextualized enterprise systematic innovation path selection and evaluation mechanisms.So it lacks reliable theoretical support when considering product innovation strategy of enterprises.This paper explores product strategy innovation and path theory driven by product architecture from the theoretical level and systematically explores the innovation path evaluation mechanism of product architecture in innovation implementation,which has both important theoretical and practical significance to promote the strategic development of product architecture.Based on the literature review,this paper systematically sorts out several indicators that influence product performance in ERP software implementation.Use U8 series as the basic analysis object,this paper summarizes the conceptual model of customer value based on product architecture in ERP software implementation,which includes three elements of product architecture as an antecedent variable,architecture knowledge of product as dependent variable,enterprise performance(customer value)as independent variable.Meanwhile,according to the theory of reach and range theory,two mediating variables of application depth and application scope are introduced to the model.Based on the model developed,a number of relevant research hypotheses are proposed,and the second-hand information method is used to collect relevant data from multiple channels for verification.The descriptive statistical analysis and structural equation modeling methods are used to verify the research hypothesis.Following conclusions can be concluded from the empirical analysis:1)Architecture knowledge of product has positive effect on enterprise performance in terms of cost,efficiency,control and coordination;2)Architecture knowledge of product can have a direct impact on business performance and the more complex of product architecture,the greater the impact on enterprise performance;3)Architecture knowledge of product can have indirect positive impact via two mediating variables of application depth and application scope.The deeper the application depth,the greater the positive impact on performance.Similarly,the more modules the enterprise applies,or the more departments get involved in the implementation of ERP system,the greater the positive effect on enterprise performance.Combined with the results of empirical research,and aims to enhance business performance and customer value,this paper puts forward some management recommendations from the point of view of product innovation path and business strategy,hoping to provide considerable advices of enterprise product innovation and strategic development. |
