The port logistics industry attracts more and more attention with rapid economic development of China and therefore rapid spread of port logistics parks though it is not long time since being introduced into the country. It is necessary to discuss theoretic background of the subject and foresee its application in Chinese port logistics parks.A model for port logistics park performance evaluation used to analyze Nansha logistics park of Guangzhou port, evaluate the mode of port logistics park in some spot and instruct the development of port logistics park is build by analyzing the basic conception of port logistics. This is also the purpose of the paper.Several methods, including systems analysis ways of AHP (The Analytical Hierarchy Process) and Fuzzy Theory , sociological ways combined with factors of geography, economy, politics and science, has been discussed to confirm their influence to the performance of port logistics park in the paper.Based on a lot of investigation and study, a complete system of port logistics performance evaluation that is used to analyze and evaluate the performance of Nansha logistics park of Guangzhou employing systems analysis ways, has been built. For the purpose of finding the relative advantage and disadvantage of the Nansha logistics park and determining the its foreground, Nansha logistics park is compared with Huangpu logistics park of Guangzhou and other logistics parks of Hong Kong which are also situated in Pearl River Delta in the scientific evaluation of the paper. The ideas and countermeasures of Nansha logistics park development, in the paper, are simply discussed to point out the emphases, direction and some improved measures of the park through analyzing the result by way of computation and comparision.
