A Study On The Interactive Development And Influencing Factors Of FDI And Foreign Trade In Yunnan Province

As China's bridgehead to southeast Asia,yunnan is the connecting point between China and southeast Asia.However,the openness rate of yunnan's foreign economic exchange is not that high.Compared with the foreign trade dependence rate of China,which is 50.1 %,that of Yunnan is only about 10%.After China joined the WTO,foreign trade and investment have become increasingly integrated.FDI has played a more important role in Yunnan's economy and become an integral part of its economic development.Is there a causal relationship between the foreign trade and foreign investment?What is the interactive development of the these two? What are the factors that influence the development of these two,and how do they affect the interactive development? These questions are urgent to be answered.If we can solve these problems,we can promote economy of Yunnan province.This paper,based on the present development situation of FDI and foreign trade in Yunnan province,use the gray correlation analysis model to measure the level of the interactive development of correlation coefficient,concluding that foreign investment and foreign trade interactive development level remains to be improved.Then,the statistical data of FDI and the import and export trade in Yunnan province in 1994-2016 was selected to analyze the relationship between FDI and the import and export trade in Yunnan province,the examination that based on the model of VAR(value at risk model).The result shows that there is a causal relationship between FDI and import trade in Yunnan Province,however,there is a unidirectional causality between FDI and export trade.Then,the regression analysis is used to select and analyze factors influenced the development level.It is concluded that per capita GDP in Yunnan province,highway density,the whole society fixed assets investment and interactive development level are positively related;the salary level of Yunnan province is negatively correlated with the level of interactive development,and it has great influence on the level of interactive development.Finally,this paper puts forward some Suggestions for the development of foreign direct investment and the development of foreign trade in yunnan province.
