As a scientific management tool,performance management has been used in many enterprises.It will greatly stimulate the enthusiasm of the employees,and improve the performance of the staff and corporate if the performance management is used properly.However,many enterprises have a lot of negative effect the use of performance management.A Company is a large state-owned company.It has the nature of the business unit.Although the company's leadership attaches great importance to performance management,the effect is not ideal.Therefore,the paper is mainly to explore the problems of the performance management in A Company,and to put forward the improving plan to serve the performance management of A Company,and to improve the company performance.On the basis of the theory of performance management and the research results of the previous researchers,using the questionnaire survey method,based on the results of the questionnaire survey,the paper sums up the problems existing in performance management of A Company,explores the causes of the problems,and puts forward the improving plan and the safeguards.(1)The paper finds the problems in the each link of performance management system by the analysis to survey results:the performance management system is out of line with the strategic objectives of the enterprise,the performance indicators are not reasonable,the system lacks continuous communication and guidance,the performance appraisal results are not fully used,and the performance feedback mechanism is not perfect.The reason is that there is no good performance management culture,and lacking the training system of the performance management.(2)Aiming at the existing problems and the reasons,the paper puts forward a set of solutions:confirming the objectives,principles,ideas of the performance management,doing well the basic work of performance management system,optimizing the process of performance management,and enhancing the application of performance appraisal results.In order to ensure the plan smooth implementation,the paper puts forward to build a performance management culture,and strengthen the internal training of performance management system.The characteristic of the paper is:(1)The paper analyzes the problems of performance management in A Company on the basis of the questionnaire results.The paper designs the questionnaire based on the performance management process,and analyzes the problems of performance management in A Company based on the questionnaire results.(2)The paper lists the detail of the improvement scheme and implementation guarantee.In order to make the improvement scheme and the implementation of the guarantee more operable,the paper not only gives the improvement ideas,but also puts forward the specific operation details.(3)The paper designs the four dimensional index weight based on the BSC.Aiming at the situation of different responsibilities,the paper divides the post into five levels,and give the different weights for different levels of the four dimensional index.
