Research On The Impact Of Producer Services Industrial Agglomeration To Foreign Direct Investment In Manufacturing Industry

Although the field of foreign direct investment(FDI)in China has continued to show that the tertiary industry has caught up with the new pattern of the secondary industry since 2011,the inflow of FDI in manufacturing can not be neglected.The existing research on the influencing factors of FDI in China is mainly focused on the related effects of manufacturing industry agglomeration,and there is little research on the impact of producer service industry agglomeration on manufacturing FDI.Based on the extended new economic geography theory framework,this paper investigates the influence of producer service industry agglomeration on manufacturing FDI in China,and then puts forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions in combination with theoretical and empirical research.In the first chapter,the author puts forward the research ideas of this paper based on the related research background.The second chapter analyzes the relationship between the two countries,such as the gathering of productive service industry,the theory of foreign direct investment and the relationship between industrial agglomeration and FDI The third chapter uses the relevant theory to explain the impact of the production service industry agglomeration on the manufacturing industry FDI;the fourth chapter is to analyze the concentration of productive service industry in China and the status of manufacturing FDI;Chapter 5 uses the system generalized moment(SGMM)estimation method to analyze the impact of producer service industry agglomeration on manufacturing FDI.Chapter 6 is based on theoretical analysis and empirical analysis of concise research conclusions,and put forward the corresponding policy recommendations.In the part of theoretical research,the author first analyzes the influence of agglomeration of producer service industry on manufacturing FDI from three aspects:specialized economy,labor market economy and knowledge spillover.Among them,the specialized economy can significantly reduce the transaction costs of manufacturing enterprises;labor market economy can reduce the production costs of manufacturing enterprises;knowledge spillovers can promote the production of services and manufacturing industry,the increase in knowledge output.Which will further promote the inflow of manufacturing FDI.Secondly,based on the endogenous economic growth model of industrial agglomeration and horizontal differentiation,the author analyzes the economic meaning of the producer service industry through the influence of the knowledge output of the industry and attracting the manufacturing FDI.The analysis of the theoretical model shows that,in the case of other conditions,the foreign direct investment capital K of the manufacturing industry increases with the increase of the service type M of the service service industry in the region,and the agglomeration of the productive service industry can lead to the knowledge of the industry The increase in the type of service activity.This paper takes the location business as the measure of agglomeration level of producer service industry,and adds the manufacturing agglomeration degree,the concentration degree of foreign capital enterprise,the GDP,the population growth rate,the labor cost,the per capita electricity consumption,the foundation Facilities and human capital as control variables.At the same time,the panel data of 31 provinces and cities in China from 2004 to 2014 are used as samples,and the system generalized moment(SGMM)estimation method is used for empirical analysis.The measurement results show that the characteristics of the productive service industry itself determine that their industrial agglomeration can significantly promote the inflow of FDI in the manufacturing industry,but the promotion role is less than the promotion of manufacturing agglomeration.Due to the large differences in sub-sectors,the role of industry agglomeration in the inflow of manufacturing FDI is not the same.Among them,in the study period of this article,the financial,education and other low degree of concentration of the industry on the impact of manufacturing FDI can not pass a significant test.We believe that this is due to the different positions in the conditional distribution,the intensity of productive services agglomeration on manufacturing FDI may be different.Based on the conclusion of this paper,this paper puts forward some policy suggestions from the aspects of the development of the productive service industry and the improvement of the investment environment.We should actively improve the infrastructure construction and improve the level of human capital while vigorously promoting the development and improvement of the key infrastructure system of the productive service industry.
