Abstract/Summary:
China’s urbanization has been improved with the economic development rapidly.Urban commercial complex,skyscrapers,schools,hospitals,airports,railway stations,arts cultural centers and other infrastructure were sprung up in recently years.Developing for high-rise residential and social housing were also burgeoning.The elevator industrial was into golden age under the rapid progress of Chinese urbanization.A elevator company is the researched objective in this paper.It is a foreign-funded enterprises,established in the 1980 s,which created excellent brand in Chinese market.New equipment business includes sales and installation is the main department of A company,which booking order and the revenue accounts for more than 80% in A company.Therefore,new equipment business is very important to increase the market share and achieve the strategic objective for A company.Based on the actual situation of new equipment business,this paper intends to use the BSC theory to effectively combine the performance evaluation and corporate strategy to promote the steady operation and to better achieve its strategic objectives of A company from theoretical view.In the essay writing,this paper firstly introduces the research background,purpose,significance,research results at home and abroad,the content,methods and framework of this paper.Second,It introduces some theory about performance evaluation,strategic performance management and balance scorecard.Subsequently,the status of elevator industry,the history of A elevator company and some issue of new equipment business performance evaluation are to be analyzed.Thirdly,the BSC is introduced into practice.Drawing up the company strategic map after discussing the framework and the designed principles,as well as setting up the key evaluation indexes and their weights.Finally,this article analysises what is a safeguard for carring out BSC.The marginal contribution of this paper is to provide theoretical research in promoting the business and strategic goals of new equipment,and to improve its market competitiveness,also to provide other elevator companies with reference in performance and strategic management.
