The Impact Of Trade Facilitation In "The Belt And Road" Major Countries On Chinese Export Trade

The world trade way of promoting trade liberalization has been actively advocating,in order to promote the smooth implementation of the trade between countries,throughbilateral and multilateral trade negotiations and economic cooperation,the tariff barriers which influence the trade liberalization has been greatly curtailed,further reducing tariffs to bring economic benefits is no longer significant.In order to protect the interests of the domestic market,some hidden barriers to block trade has gradually become the dominant factor,such as the complicated customs formalities,low efficiency of trade program was severely reduces the efficiency of trade,countries around the world began to simplify customs clearance procedures,improve the work efficiency,reduce the transaction cost in the trade,in order to improve the country’s trade benefits and the economic benefits in the world.In recent years,Chinese economic growth has shift from high speed to medium and high speed,in the new normal economic period,according to the trade data,Chinese foreign trade is also experiencing a critical period of transformation and upgrading.in this time,our country put forward the strategy of "The Belt and Road",this will create new opportunities for the economic development,the strategy of "The Belt andRoad"not only opened up a new market for our country’s export trade,but also inject vitality for the economic development of countries along the belt,what’s more,solving the problem of excess production capacity in China,for Chinese enterprises to "go out" to lay the solid foundation.This paper discusses the hot issue of trade facilitation,explores "The Belt and Road"national trade facilitation impact on China’s export,summarized the research achievements of predecessors,and draw lessons from the research methods of past scholars to define the meaning of trade facilitation,and build a scientific assessment system,after analyzing"The Belt and Road"countries trade facilitation and Chinese export situation,using the extended gravity model to analyze the influence of trade facilitation indicators for Chinese trade flows,and primary index has carried on the empirical analysis.Finally,according to the empirical results put forward the corresponding policy recommendations.The first part is introduction.Including the selected topic background and significance,literature review and research methods,and based on predecessors’ research results,presenting the innovations and shortcomings in this paper.In short,the first partgrasp the direction of this article in overall.The second part is the concept and evaluation methodology and basic theory about the trade facilitation.This section definite the trade facilitation concept and evaluation methodology,then expounds some basic theories related to trade facilitation and trade costs,in order to provide theoretical support for the trade facilitation promote trade exports.The third part is the analysis of the trade relations between China and "the Belt and Road",and measured trade facilitation,and analyzed the result.From the export scale and export distribution and commodity structure three aspects,expounding the present situation of Chinese export trade to 37 major countries,then build a scientific evaluation system,measuring the level of trade facilitation,and the results are analyzed.The fourth part is the empirical study on the impact of trade facilitation on Chinese export trade.This part using the data from 2008 to 2015 and the expanded gravity model,and applying statal2.0 software with the empirical method to study the trade facilitation effect on Chinese export trade,respectively for the overall index analysis and basic index analysis,and the regression results are analyzed.The fifth part is conclusions and policy recommendations.Based on the above empirical analysis,the paper puts forward some Suggestions for the improvement of trade facilitation to promote Chinese export to "The Belt and Road" countries.Innovation point of this article is:on the one hand,on the basis of building the core variables for trade facilitation,applying an empirical way to analyze the trade facilitation impact on Chinese export,most of previous scholars studies are focused on trade flows,by building export trade facilitation assessment system and research paper are rare,this paper only analyze the export trade and give some reference to put forward policy Suggestions.on the other hand,in addition to analyze trade facilitation as the overall index and the impact of subentry index on trade like previous scholars,in this paper,according to the result of trade facilitation,divided it into two level-not convenient and relatively convenient,and then joined the virtual variable,analyzes the impact of different levels of trade facilitation on export trade whether there is a difference between countries,thus can put forward more clearly and more specific Suggestions.
