Trade “inefficiency” as a new type of barrier has increasingly influences on international trade, and may reduce trade efficiency between countries and hinder a country's export trade. In order to better develop foreign trade, countries actively promote trade facilitation measures in order to eliminate deep technical barriers, improve export efficiency, and build an efficient, fast, fair and transparent business environment. In September 2013,the "One Belt,One Road" initiative was officially put forward, which opened up a new prospect for China's export trade and provided new impetus and opportunities for the high quality development of China's foreign trade. However, the differentiation of political systems between countries will also lead to increased trade complexity, which poses some challenges for trade cooperation between China and countries along the route. In order to speed up the process of high-quality development of China's export trade,China should continuously promote the construction of trade facilitation in the “Belt and Road” countries, reduce the export costs of domestic enterprises, enhance the export competitiveness of domestic enterprises, and expand the scale of domestic exports. In order to propose more targeted trade improvement measures, this paper aims to explore the mechanisms how trade facilitation affect export trade, discuss the current trade situation between China and the countries along the “Belt and Road”,use the component analysis method and the comprehensive evaluation index system of trade facilitation to measure and analyze the current situation of trade facilitation between China and the countries along the line from 2007 to 2016,construct an expanded trade gravitation model, and empirically test the direct and indirect influences of the trade facilitation of the countries along the “Belt and Road” on China's export trade, and put forward practical recommendations based on the research conclusions. The results of this paper indicate that:(1)The countries along the “Belt and Road”are important trade cooperation targets of China, and there is huge trade potential between the“Belt and Road” countries and china.(2)The level of trade facilitation in the countries along the “Belt and Road” is generally low,and there is much room for improvement.(3)Importing country's GDP,population size, financial freedom and trade facilitation significantly promote China's export trade.Comparing the impact of trade facilitation on China's export trade under different dimensions,it is found that the degree of developmentof port and logistics and e-commerce has a great impact on China's export trade, but the regulatory environment and border management have less influence on export trade, and the impact of them on export trade is not obvious. In addition, geographical distance between the two countries, and tariffs of importing countries are negatively correlated with China's export trade volume, and the promotion effect of foreign direct investment is significant.(4)The trade facilitation of importing countries has significant indirect promotion on China's export trade through foreign direct investment, and the indirect promotion through import trade is not obvious. Finally,in order to further promote China's trade cooperation with countries along the“Belt and Road”,we should build a new pattern of trade cooperation and achieve an efficient and smooth trade environment.By using the experiences of the main developed countries for referance and combining with the actual situation of our country, this paper puts forward several targeted measures from the aspects of customs integration system, financial cooperation mode and industrial cooperation.
