Organizations operate generally uses the team approach to deal with the increasingly fierce competitive environment in modern time.Therefore,how to improve the team creativity becomes an important topic of the organization to remain competitiveness.A large amount of studies explore the team creativity,including from team conflict,team emotional climate and participation safety,but a noticeable omission from this set of outcomes is team-member exchange.Furthermore,the prior studies about team-member exchange were based on social exchange theory,but these research ignore the social identity theory to explain its mechanism.Based on social identity theory,the purpose of this studies tend to explain the relationship between team-member exchange and team creativity from team-level perspective.To explore the relationship among team-member exchange,team identification,team creativity using empirical research by multi-source and two-times data collect,this study collected 429 valid samples of 80 teams through questionnaire survey,and analyze the mediate role of team identification into the relationship between team-member exchange and team creativity.This paper is made up of five parts.The first chapter is introduction part,which mainly narrates the research background and research meaning,research methods,research framework and illustrates the possible innovation points.By collection and analysis the related literature about team-member exchange,team identification and team creativity,the second part find the lack of research about team-member exchange and team creativity at team level.And the lack of research about team-member exchange affects team-level outcomes from social identity theory.By doing so,we finds out the breakthrough point from this paper.Combined theory with practice,the third part makes the hypothesis deduction about team-member exchange and team creativity on the base of literature analysis,then presents the theoretical model of this research.The fourth chapter is the research design and research results,which mainly make the statistical' analysis and description of valid sample and reports the reliability of the scale,as well as examines the aggregation conditions of the individual level data.By doing this,we make hypothesis test.The fifth part is the conclusion and discussion.It mainly summaries the conclusion,and then come up with the theoretical significance and management implications,and points out the shortcomings about this research,finally comes up with the future research directions.By doing this research,This paper gets the two conclusions:(1)Team-member exchange are positively related to team creativity.(2)The team identification has fully mediated the relationship of team-member exchange and team creativity.This paper's innovation points are as the following two points:(1)We board research horizon.The prior research about team-member exchange are used to the social exchange theory and social cognitive theory,while this paper is based on social identity theory to explain the mechanism.Therefore,it has a positive role of research the team-member exchange.(2)Team-member exchange is a team-level construct in essential.This paper explore the relationship between team-member exchange and team creativity,not only board the research about team-member exchange,but following the trend that the scholar call for paying attention to the team-level research.
