Research On The Impact Of Industrial Agglomeration On The Development Of Urbanization

Industrial agglomeration refers to the process of continuous concentration of production factors and related industries in a certain spatial range or geographical location.Embodied in enterprises and related organizations of highly concentrated in some area,and the core of the urbanization is the accumulation of the large population,the factors of production to the town there is a close correlation between the two.The transfer of labor force from rural to urban areas is the essence of urbanization,which requires the employment opportunities brought by sustainable industries.Industrial development is the support of urbanization.Must recognize that at present our country is still a manufacturing power,manufacturing industry development has close relationship with urbanization,relying on industrial agglomeration to guide population agglomeration,is still the important direction of our country’s urbanization.In the process of China’s urbanization construction,we must adhere to the principle of relying on industry and provide sufficient resources and financial support for urbanization through the development of industry.Industrial agglomeration affect the urbanization by the following way:first of all,the industrial concentration is the essence of enterprise in a certain geographical agglomeration,on the one hand,the enterprise cluster will bring on labor especially the demand of the rural surplus labor force,on the other hand,the enterprise cluster can also promote the rapid development of service industry especially the producer services,thus promote urban research,financial,legal consulting,logistics and other industries to expand and the improvement of the infrastructure,industrial agglomeration effect was further strengthened,and promote the population in urban agglomeration.Second,industrial agglomeration promotes the formation and separation of urban living areas and production system,make the city more reasonable layout,land,resources,talent and infrastructure and other factors of production to "intensive",pay attention to the extension of industry chain,eventually lead to the cluster system reconstruction and upgrading,and urban system focuses on the expansion of service chain and the appreciation of the value chain,industry cluster and city form the relatively complete industrial value system,can greatly optimize the space layout of the city.Finally,through the industrial cluster external economy and scale economy effect,on the one hand can offset the high cost of the expansion of urbanization,on the other hand can continuously improve the competitiveness of the city and the city’s radiation enhanced,industry radiation effect will be complementary in the territory of industrial structure,constitute the basis for the development of urban agglomeration linkage,improve regional urbanization rate further.It can be seen that the industrial agglomeration process is unified with the urban development process.At the same time,industrial agglomeration will also have negative effects on urbanization,mainly reflected in:excessive industrial agglomeration leads to vicious competition,decreased production efficiency,and enterprises will withdraw.Excessive agglomeration will increase the production cost of enterprises,reduce the production scale of enterprises and reduce employment.Excessive agglomeration will lead to inertia of enterprise innovation and hinder technological progress.Excessive agglomeration will lead to environmental pollution,traffic congestion and high cost of living,which will lead to population outflow from cities.The positive promotion and negative hindrance of industrial agglomeration make the effect of industrial agglomeration on urbanization non-linear.Using system GMM method and with the aid of the Yangtze river economic belt 108 prefecture level panel data to empirical test,the results show that the current manufacturing agglomeration is still in the Yangtze river economic belt an important power of urbanization,the manufacturing industry agglomeration can significantly increase the rate of urbanization in the Yangtze river economic belt,on urbanization of producer services agglomeration effect is not obvious,which promote urbanization "follow-up" effect has not been fully revealed;Area of the Yangtze river economic belt points empirically found that industrial agglomeration effect of urbanization on regional heterogeneity:a hierarchical region due to the degree of industrial concentration and the urbanization level is relatively low,the chronically in the form of industrial agglomeration dominate the urbanization stage,downstream industry agglomeration and urbanization is"inverted U" relationship between industrial agglomeration booster of urbanization potential is limited.The effect of producer services and their joint agglomeration with manufacturing industry in different regions is different.Government intervention and the income gap between urban and rural areas variables to hinder development of urbanization,the proportion of non-agricultural,foreign direct investment and transport infrastructure to promote urbanization and economic development level.Finally,according to the empirical results,the author tries to put forward relevant countermeasures and Suggestions.
