The Integration And Development Disparities Of Jing-Jin-Ji

Jing-Jin-Ji region is the most important political and economic center in northern China.For a long time,the integration of Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei is a significant regional development issue with great practical significance,and has become an important research field concerned by many scholars.Since the coordinated development of Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei has risen to the national strategy,the theoretical and practical significance of the research on the integration of Jing-Jin-Ji has been further promoted.This paper applies the theory of interregional input-output to study the integration and development disparities between Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei from the industrial level,and analyzes the internal driving force and upgrading mechanism of regional industrial structure from the perspective of industrial linkage.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)Using absolute gap and relative gap to measure the gap of economic development and the change of the region,and decomposing relative gap,the Theil index,into the inner gap and cross-province gap.The results show the relative gap from 2001 to 2015 of Jing-Jin-Ji regional economic development a downward trend,but the cross-province gap is still at a high level,accounted for more than 80%of the overall regional disparity.(2)On the basis of composing the interregional input-output table of Jing-Jin-Ji,we calculated and compared the spillover effects and feedback effects.The results show that Hebei has a very weak impact on Beijing and Tianjin,while Beijing and Tianjin have a significant spillover effect on Hebei.By measuring the industrial correlation coefficient between Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei,the interregional Industrial linkage intensity is studied.The results show that Beijing has increased the number of industries which have a strong pull and push effect on Jing-Jin-Ji region.In contrast,Tianjin and Hebei perform oppositely.(3)From the perspective of industrial association,we analyzed the relationship between industrial linkage and the stage of regional development.Through the analysis of the manufacturing industrial linkage with related services,the industrial linkage is the internal cause deepening industrial upgrading constantly.As the upgrading of the industrial structure and economic growth is often in parallel,the industrial linkage and its evolution in industry chain is an important factor to drive regional economic growth.
