The Effects Of Network Competence And Resource Integration On The Service Innovation Performance Of Logistics Enterprises

Logistics industry has developed rapidly in recent years,increasingly plays an important role in China's economic structure,but the most logistics enterprises still present small scale,single service and extensive operation,it is difficult to obtain sustainable competitive advantage in the market competition,so enterprises need to accelerate development of service innovation.For logistics enterprises,the service innovation activities are different from the general technology innovation activities,and it has greater innovation scope due to the invisibility and perishable nature of the service itself.Many scholars have pointed out that the innovation activities of enterprises is a collection of resources,but currently the resources are scarce in most of the logistics enterprise.With the development of information technology,knowledge economy and the deepening of economic globalization,logistics enterprises rely solely on their own resources to gain the competitive advantage is difficult,and the enterprises need to cross organizational boundaries to obtain the required resources and effective integration,in order to improve enterprise's service innovation ability.However,the behavior of logistics enterprises across the organizational boundaries depends on the construction of their own network competence,and the networking activities of enterprises are the key for enterprises to occupy a place in the fierce market competition.So based on the logistics enterprises as the research object,the paper mainly consider whether network competence and resource integration will promote the service innovation performance,and whether the network competence will influence service innovation of the enterprise performance by the activity of resources integration,in order to explore the mediation effect of resource integration activities.On this basis,this paper introduced the innovation oriented as the situational variables to consider whether it will affect the effect of resource integration.The purpose of this paper is to promote logisticsenterprises to understand the importance of building network capabilities,and to provide guidance for the development of the resource integration activities and the improvement of service innovation performance of logistics enterprises.By combing with the relevant literature,we can find that the current research on network competence mostly focuses on its impact on innovation performance,but the research on how network competence affects innovation performance is not enough.Based on the theory of social network and open innovation,this paper choose the logistics enterprises as the research object,in order to analyze the relationship between network competence,resource integration,innovation orientation and service innovation performance by the literature analysis and the questionnaire survey analysis,and the model that the network competence influence the service innovation performance is set up,trying to open the specific path of how network competence influence the enterprise service innovation performance.Based on the literature and data analysis,this paper draw the following conclusions:the dimensions of network competence(network design capacity,the role of management ability and relationship combination ability)will significantly promote the integration of resources and its dimensions(resource picking and resource matching);integration of resources and its two dimensions will significantly promote the improvement of service innovation performance of the logistics enterprise;the all dimensions of network competence will significantly promote the service innovation performance of logistics enterprise;the resource integration plays an intermediary role in the relationship between network competence and service innovation performance,in particular,the resources integration has a fully mediating effect between network constructing capability and service innovation performance,and has a partial mediating effect between the role of management ability and service innovation performance,and has a partial mediating effect between the relationship combination ability and service innovation performance;in addition,innovation orientation has a positive moderating effect on the path of resource integration and service innovation performance.Finally the paper put forward the corresponding management recommendations according to the conclusions.On the one hand,the logistics enterprises need to pay attention to build and strengthen the structure of network competence and the management of resourceintegration which include external resource acquisition and the combination of internal and external resources from the aspect of strategy,enterprises,employees and so on.On the other hand,the logistics enterprises need to cultivate the internal innovation oriented culture.The conclusion has some certain practical significance which can help logistics enterprises conduct the resources adjustment according to the changes of the external environment,making the logistics enterprises to overcome resource constraints under the intense market competition environment,providing the theoretical basis for the practice activities of logistics business,and providing the basis for the formulation of corresponding regulations.
