Research On The Path Of The Asset-Light Operation Model:Comparative Case Studies Between CMB And CITIC

With the transformation of China's economy and the rapid development of light industry and light industry,the operation mode of light assets has become the main business strategy in the future.In the ten years of the 2003-2013 years,the banking industry,along with the rapid growth of the economy,plus the favorable policy factors such as access control and interest rate lock,ushered in the most brilliant development stage.But since 2013,with the change of the economic environment and the regulatory policy,the asset scale and profit growth of the banking industry are slowing down.The banking industry has also explored the operation mode of light assets,trying to gain a sustained competitive advantage and an increase in profit through the transformation of the operation mode.This paper expounds and analyzes the research status of the theory of light assets operation mode and the theory of bank income and cost control.Taking China Merchants Bank and CITIC Bank as the analysis object,this paper analyzes the key points of the light assets operation of China Merchants Bank and CITIC Bank from the perspective of operation management,including the adjustment of business structure of assets and liabilities.The optimization of income structure,the change of cost control and the reengineering of business process.The following conclusions are drawn from the analysis and research: first,the adjustment of the business structure is the objective requirement of the operation transformation of the bank's light assets;second,the adjustment of the income structure is the breakthrough point of the commercial bank's light assets operation;third,the control of the cost of capital and the cost of business management is the key to the commercial bank's light asset operation;Fourth Financial technology plays a significant role in promoting light assets operation of commercial banks.These light assets operation and management process not only enrich the case study of the operation of light assets,but also provide a lot of practical enlightenment and guidance for other commercial banks to carry out the transformation of light assets operation.
