Assessment Of Urbanization Quality In Hangzhou Bay Area

Urbanization is an inevitable trend in the development of human society.Since the founding of the People's Republic of China,China's urbanization has made tremendous contributions to building a well-off society in an all-round way and realizing modernization with Chinese characteristics.In recent years,changes in the economic,social,and natural ecological environment have placed higher requirements and standards on the development of cities.The urban development model of the past was difficult to sustain and China's urban development entered a transitional period.The concept of new urbanization came into being,people are increasingly concerned about the quality of urbanization.The Hangzhou Bay area is located in the Yangtze River Delta.It is the frontline for China's reform and opening up and is also one of the most economically developed regions in China.It has good industrial foundation and high level of urbanization.The development of cities in the Hangzhou Bay area will,to a certain extent,reflect the future development direction of our cities.The Hangzhou Bay area can be used as a test site and leader in the transformation and development of Chinese cities.Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to study the urban development in the Hangzhou Bay area.In this article,based on previous research,an evaluation system for the urbanization quality of the Hangzhou Bay area was proposed from the connotation of urbanization and the quality of urbanization,combining development of urbanization in the Hangzhou Bay area.The evaluation system included six criteria layers and thirty-six indicators which basically involves all areas of urban development,more comprehensive and comprehensive.The subjective method and the objective method are used to determine the weights of the evaluation indicators.Principal component analysis,factor analysis,multiple linear regression analysis and other mathematical methods are used.Hangzhou,Ningbo,Shaoxing,Jiaxing,and Huzhou in the Hangzhou Bay area are taken as research objects,from urban economic development,population size,natural ecological environment,quality of life of residents,urban infrastructure,development differences between urban and rural areas,etc.Perspective on the Urbanization Quality of Hangzhou Bay.The urbanization comprehensive evaluation scores and sub-system scores of the various cities in the Hangzhou Bay area over the years have been obtained.The evolution of urbanization in each city over the years has been analyzed.The comparison analysis between cities has been carried out,and the urbanization development characteristics of each city have been mastered.Based on the related theories and evaluation results of urban development and the analysis,the future urbanization quality improvement strategy in Hangzhou Bay area is proposed.
