The rapid development of e-commerce in China drives the growth of delivery quantity with each passing year.The large scale delivery quantity and the high-quality and high-efficiency requirements of customers for Express delivery have exposed many issues in the Express delivery process.To this end,the article starts with changing the way of Express transportation organization,adopting the way of drop and pull transport organization which is developing vigorously in China at present.Through the optimization of the transfer operation process of Express feeder service,in order to improve the transfer efficiency of Express transport and solve the problems in the Express delivery process.On the basis of an in-depth analysis of the current status of Express delivery processes in China,the article analyzes the main problems in the current Express transport transfer operation process: the process is complex,the number of Express delivery and handling is large,the Express parcels are seriously damaged,and the efficiency of single-exhibition Express scanning is low,also the driver have to waiting for a long time for Express loading and unloading,and so on.To solve these problems,combined with the current research status of Express delivery process optimization and the development status of China's transport organization,this article proposes a solution to optimize the delivery process of Express transportation through the way of drop and pull transport organization.However,considering the factors such as Express delivery volume,transportation network,freight station,etc.,in the current Express transport transfer operations,the trunk transport transfer operations and feeder transportation transfer operations are suitable for carrying out the drop and pulltransport,in which the feeder transport transfer operations are more efficient.On the basis of qualitative analysis,in order to further quantify the method of research,it is proved that the way of drop and pull transport organization can optimize the delivery process of Express feeder transport,and solve the problems in the operation process of Express transport transfer.The article comprehensively compares the characteristics of the four commonly used process modeling methods,and finally selects a stochastic Petri net method with a good degree of comprehension and expression,and a high degree of completeness of modeling according to the characteristics of Express feeder transportation transfer process.And established a stochastic Petri net model of it before and after optimization.By analyzing the boundedness,reachability and liveness of the model,the correctness of the model was determined.Then,the model's performance was analyzed by using the steady state probability of the model,and the average delay time and the efficiency of the Express feeder transportation transfer operation process before and after optimization were obtained.Finally,through comparison and analysis,it was found that the average delay time of the optimized Express feeder transportation transfer operation process was significantly reduced,the efficiency of it has been improved,and the driver was also greatly saved waiting for the Express loading and unloading time.Therefore,from the quantitative point of view,the optimization of the transfer operation process of the Express feeder transportation is verified by the way of drop and pull transport organization.
