Look around the world,with the rapid development of economic globalization and intense commercial competition,Chinese enterprises are facing severe challenges from home and abroad;meanwhile,employees are also facing growing pressure both from work and life.If these pressure cannot get timely and effectively released,it will inevitably result in staff frustration,decreased work efficiency and loyalty etc.then followed by low morale and organizational performance,corporate performance will decline.As a result,companies will have to bear the direct or indirect economic loss,to pay for the above-mentioned range of issues.Employee Assistance Programs(EAP),originated in the United States,has about 100-year history.EAP came to China in 1990 s with the tide of reform and opening-up policy.As an important means of modern human resources management,EAP's important role in physical and mental health of employees is increasingly being understood and recognized by Chinese enterprises.Through the effective implementation of EAP,companies can timely diagnose,prevent and discover employees' psychological problems,alleviate and eliminate employee occupational mental stress,improve employee satisfaction,reduce absenteeism,improve the organizational climate,save cost and improve labor productivity.It can be said that EAP plays an irreplaceable role in modern business management.EAP as well as clean energy industry is brand-new thing in China.However,domestic application of EAP for the clean energy industry is less,so this article will choose a clean energy company as the research object in order to provide a reference to the effective application of EAP mode for the industry.Therefore,Proceeding from China's actual situation,this article chose a clean energy company –Company A as the research object through on-site research interviews combined with a questionnaire study and data analysis,basically defining the employees stress state,sources of stress and EAP needs of the company.According to research results,the article designed a specific EAPproject and a set of measures in line with Company A's characteristics,in order to enable its employees to release the pressure,to protect employee occupational mental health,promote individual performance and enhance corporate performance.It is said that good lessons can be learned when utilizing now-existed resolution,hoping this article can provide a reference to EAP practice of the clean energy industry and make contribution to the advancement and development of EAP in China.
