Research On The Strategic Development Of The Camellia Oleifera Industry In Qiyang, Yongzhou City

People live on food.The development of oil crops in China is very important for the economic development and its people's livelihood security.In recent years,China is importing a large amount of edible oil,which leads to the high dependence on foreign countries.Thus,it has seriously affected the oil safety in China.China has been a home to camellia oil cultivation.Therefore,vigorously developing camellia oil industry can effectively alleviate this problem.The national policies also strongly support the camellia seed oil industry.Qiyang county,as an important source of camellia seed oil in Hunan,has become an urgent and practical topic for studying the strategic development of its camellia seed oil industry.This study gives a brief overview of the development of camellia seed oil industry in Qiyang.At present,the development of the camellia seed oil industry in Qiyang is both a challenge and an opportunity.Although Qiyang has a long history in cultivating camellia seed oil,its large plantation land has not formed a mode of industrialization development,and it also lacks the scientific and effective management.So,the PEST analysis method is used to analyze the development environment in Qiyang's camellia seed oil industry.Then,SWOT analysis method is used to explain the advantages and disadvantages of the development of camellia seed oil industry in Qiyang county.Meanwhile,the strategic development of the camellia seed oil industry in Qiyang county is discussed based on its current status.This study analyzes the formulation and implementation of its strategic development.As the high-quality and healthy edible oil,Qiyang's camellia seed oil industry aims its target markets mainly to high-income classes in southern cities.The camellia oil industry makes effort to maintain its title as the home to camellia seed oil.So it will become the flagship of the camellia oil industry in southern China.For this reason,Qiyang's camellia seed oil industry puts forward its strategic development emphasis: to cultivate high-quality camellia seed oil plantation,to establish modern enterprise management system,and strengthen its brand construction.Finally,the industry should implement human resource,innovate marketing methods,improve the overall utilization,construct the industrial culture,and promote capital listing to achieve the strategic development of camellia seed oil industry.
