Study On The Political Identification Of New Generation Migrant Workers In China

As a special group in the period of social transformation in our country,migrant workers occupy the main position among the modern industrial workers in our country,and they are also an important force in the modernization construction.This group has made important contributions to the development of various undertakings in our country.With the continuous evolution of the times,this group is also constantly changing from the old to the new,and in recent years it has become younger.Different from the old generation of migrant workers,a new generation of migrant workers has emerged,their education level is relatively high,and their legal concept and political understanding have also been improved.But there are still some political problems in this group.Overall,there is a low level of political identity.The political identity of migrant workers in the new generation is directly related to the stability of socialist society and the development of socialist democratic politics.Therefore,we should pay close attention to the political identity of the new generation of migrant workers.Strengthening the cultivation of peasant workers' political identity,especially the shaping of the new generation of peasant workers' political outlook,provides the guarantee for the development of various undertakings in our country.This study is based on individual interviews and questionnaire surveys of new generations of rural migrant workers in Hubei Province.It draws on the relevant theories of political identification and examines the political identity of the new generation of peasant workers from the aspects of interest identification,institutional identification,and political authority identification.status quo.Through investigations,it was further discovered that the weakening of the political identity of the new generation of peasant laborers was caused by a combination of factors: the low wages and the loss of legitimate rights and interests resulted in a decline in their interest;due to the imperfections in the system,the institutional identity weakened;Loss of conduct leads to a weakening of authority;in addition to the new generation of migrant workers themselves.In response to these problems,comprehensive considerations have been taken at both the macro and micro levels to address theproblem and seek feasible solutions that can enhance the political identity of the new generation of migrant workers.This article attempts to start from the following aspects: At the macro level,first,balance the interest pattern and enhance the identification of interests;second,eliminate institutional injustice and improve institutional identity;third,standardize government behavior and build authoritative identity;at the micro level First,we must improve the quality of peasant workers and adjust social expectations.Second,regulate the social relations between citizens and migrant workers.
