Research Of Tbt Impact On China's Export Of Electromechanical Products

In recent years,with the development of globalization,technical barriers to trade become a new method of trade protection for developed countries under the situation of the decline of traditional tariff and non-tariff barriers.However,TBT-related measures will inevitably have an impact on the foreign trade of our country.As one of the main export products of China,mechanical and electronic products encounter the most serious influenced by TBT measures.Because of the huge losses caused by TBT measures,this paper will explain the effect of technical trade barriers carried out by other countries on mechanical and electronic products through the mechanism of the partial equilibrium model analysis and empirical analysis of the gravity model.Furthermore,to provide references for the sustainable development of mechanical and electronic products,this paper will put forward some countermeasures against technical trade barriers based on the conclusions of the analysis above.This paper consists of six chapters: chapter one: introduction.a description of the background and significance of this research;an analysis of the research situation of the technical trade barriers and a summary of the achievements and shortcomings in current study;a brief overview of the framework,research methods,structure,main content and the innovation of the paper.Chapter two: related theories of TBT.This part mainly illustrates related theories and key features of TBT as well as analyzes TBT system of the main developed countries.Chapter three: the present situation of TBT on China's mechanical and electrical products export.This part first introduces the present situation of mechanical and electrical products export,then illustrates the situation of TBT effect,finally analyzes the reasons for encountering TBT.Chapter four: mechanism analysis of the effect of TBT on mechanical and electrical products.This part explains the mechanism through promoting functions in the short run and hindering functions in the long run,using supply and demand equilibrium theory and the theory of life cycle analysis to analyze how it works.Chapter five: empirical analysis of the effect of TBT on China's mechanical and electrical products export.this part analyzes the effect of TBT in empirical aspect.Figure out the negative impact of TBT on China' s mechanical and electrical products export by analyzing correlated variables using gravity model.Chapter six: Countermeasures against China's mechanical and electrical products export.This part,combined with the results of quantitative analysis and reason analysis above,put forward suggestions to deal with the negative effect of TBT on China's mechanical and electrical products export,aiming at reducing the negative effect and promoting the sustained and steady development of China's mechanical and electrical products export.
