Starting a business is becoming popular with the encouragement from the governmentwho put forward the slogan ‘Mass entrepreneurship and innovation'.The rise of ‘internet plus' also stimulates business startups.But there are two problems for startups,capital shortage and difficulty in recruitment.The latter is more serious.In the January of2015,J company who is engage in internet plus commerce and trade was founded,but so far recruitment has not done well.Enterprises go in for internet plus traditional industries require those staffs who know the internet and computer technology well except professional knowledge,which is more demanding than before.Strategic development will be impeded if staff recruitment is unfavorable.This paper analyses the problems and causes of recruitment that J company has and puts forward solutions,including recruitment plan,manpower demand forecasting,writing recruitment advertisement,choosing recruitment channel,interview selection,recruitment assessment and so on.The paper firstly introduces the overview of J company,presenting problems of recruitment,analyzing causes,then giving solutions to J company combining relative theories.The study shows that the main cause of difficulty in recruitment is no corporate recognition and unprofessional in recruitment.This paper suggests J company should release complete recruitment advertising,publicize corporate culture and values actively by Job advertisement,forecast staff requirements with reference method,use a semi-structured interview supplemented by other methods to select staff.Finally it also should pay more attention to recruitment assessment.J company as a newly-established firm,the problem of recruitment it has is what all startups have.Researching on staff recruitment of J company and putting forward solutions can help it build scientific and reasonable hiring system.At the same time,these strategies can also give reference to other startups.
