The degree of teaching efficiency in colleges and universities depends on the evaluation of teachers' teaching quality.The evaluation of teachers' teaching quality involves many factors,many levels and many evaluation methods,and the evaluation index system constructed is not the same,so the evaluation results may be different and the research is comprehensive.Whether it is reasonable and objective to make a scientific evaluation of teachers' teaching quality is of great guiding and research significance to promote the overall improvement of teaching quality in colleges and universities.This paper first introduces the related words of teaching quality evaluation of college teachers and constructs the index system reasonably.By comparing the teaching quality assessment methods currently applied to the study of university teachers,this paper points out the applicable conditions,strengths and weaknesses of each method,laying a foundation for the selection of comprehensive assessment methods to evaluate the teaching quality in this paper.Then,the theory of factor analysis method and structural equation model used in this paper is described,and the measurement data of online evaluation of classroom teaching quality of college students of foreign business and business of chongqing normal university is taken as the sample,SPSS and SMOS statistical software is used to analyze the sample,and the number of indicators is reduced to simplify the research complexity,and the evaluation model is established.The whole empirical study is divided into two parts:firstly,factor analysis is used to sort out and explain the data,and common factors that can not be replaced for teaching quality assessment are found as potential variables in the later construction of structural equation model.Secondly,aiming at the feature that structural equation model can deal with the relationship between potential factors and dominant factors,the path coefficient is studied with measured data and the fitting degree of the model is tested.Finally,the model is fitted,evaluated and modified continuously to find the structural model that can explain the data relatively.The aim is to seek a reasonable index system and a more objective evaluation method to evaluate the teaching quality of teachers.Finally,through factor analysis,eight public factors,which are named after teacher's basic potential energy,teaching method,content timeliness,teacher's attitude,material selection,classroom allocation,teaching optimization and educational effect,are extracted to have a key influence on teacher teaching quality evaluation.The structural equation model(sem)shows that there is a correlation among the eight potential variables.
