The acceleration development of urbanization is a double-edged sword.It improves people's life,but in the meantime,it generates unexpected problems.The environment problem has a great influence,such as urban heat island effect,concentration of pollutants in the city central etc.The air pollution has serious consequences.Because the wind hardly flows in the city,the pollutants stay a long time in it,and it will affect people's health and comfort.Except finding a way to solve the pollution problem from source,the aggregation of function and urban morphology of the city,which as the carrier of people's daily life,will inevitably affect pollutants spread and improvement of air quality.More and more researchers pay attention to improve the microenvironment by optimizing the design of the form of residential area.This research will start from the form of residential area,which has the largest proportion in the city and also has close relationship with people's daily life.First of all,summarizing the form of residential district of Nanjing,and finding the rules of changes.Then building simplified model for simulation study under the sunlight standard and fire requirements.After that,applying the rules of changes by changing the height and layout of the buildings in the central study area and keeping the surrounding building at the same situation.During this research,the MATLAB is used for extraction of form element,and the Fluent is used for extraction of wind environment assessment element.Extracting relative numbers from multiple platforms,and then trying to do different quantitative analyses,in order to find the relevance of these two objects.The research has significant reference value for the future residential design,which can improve the wind environment of residential district and living quality under the city and economic requirements.
