Under the background of the acceleration of urbanization process,the problem of urban population increase and shortage of land resources is highlighted,and a large number of highrise buildings and high-density buildings have emerged.The introduction of ecological settlements and green buildings are popular with the public.The optimization of outdoor wind environment is an important part of the ecological settlement construction,so it is much accounted of the public.To create a good outdoor wind environment can not only improve the comfort of the living area,but also play an energy-saving effect.And it is also an important prerequisite for the safety of the settlement,so it is necessary to study it.This thesis takes Changsha area as an example to explore the outdoor wind environment in the area.First of all,the basic theory of wind,wind on the building monobody around the flow,wind environment evaluation criteria and CFD simulation software are introduced briefly.The author determines to use average wind speed,wind speed ratio and wind speed range area ratio as an evaluation method.The operation process of Airpak software is illustrated,and it provides theoretical and technical support for the follow-up research.Secondly,the meteorological data of Changsha for 30 years is collected,the leading wind direction and wind speed in the summer and winter seasons are definited,boundary parameters are set up.The author takes 45 residential projects in Changsha City as a research sample,and summarizes the characteristics of Changsha residential layout,size and plot ratio,so as to obtain realistic model data for the region.Then the simulation software is used to explore the qualitative and quantitative relationship between the building planning elements and the wind environment from the height,width,depth,wind direction of the building monomer,and the building layout and other aspects,to know that the influence of a building monomer element change to the building corner flow area and wind shadow area.The regular conclusion of the different building layout and the three evaluation indexes of the average wind speed,maximum wind speed ratio and wind speed area ratio is based on the description of the situation of outdoor wind field under the four different layout of parallel,staggered,enclosed and hybrid.Finally,on the basis of the above qualitative research,two project examples were selected for wind simulation,excavating the wind environmental problems in the project examples.Then the optimization strategies of the outdoor wind environment in the residential area are put forward from the whole and local levels,and it is applied to the actual project in which the comparative analysis of the case optimization is made.The feasibility and reliability of the optimization strategies are verified.The thesis comprehensively uses research,induction,simulation,comparison and other research methods,combined with geographical characteristics to make qualitative and quantitative discussion of the impact of residential planning elements on the wind environment,so that the conclusion of the research is more data-based and objective.At present,less researches combine with local climate and architectural features.The purpose of this study is to propose the optimization strategies of wind environment with regional characteristics and widely used,which can serve the construction of ecological settlements in a more comprehensive and systematic manner.
