Types And Evaluation Of Geoheritages In Balinzuoqi Qiguoshan National Geopark In Inner Mongolia

On March 16,2018,Balinzuoqi Qiguoshan Geopark in Inner Mongolia was approved by the former Ministry of Land and Resources as one of the eighth batch of national geoparks.The geoheritages in the geoparks are of various types and landscapes.The investigation and evaluation of resources are the foundation of merging,optimizing and integrating all kinds of natural protection sites.This paper takes the geopark geoheritages as the research object and conducts field investigation of the geoheritages and their protection status.Then it is necessary to conduct classification and value evaluation,describe their characteristics,and summarize their causes,and put forward its own suggestions for the construction problems.Through indoor data collection and field survey,it can be fully analyzed for the physical geography,social economy and regional geological background.The area of the national geopark is determined to be 29.398 km~2 with a boundary of 35 km.The types,characteristics and protection value of geoheritages in geopark were investigated through the methods such as the literature research,field investigation and indoor summary.These geoheritages can be divided into landform landscape,geological structure and water landscape,further subdivided into rock landform landscape,fluvial landform landscape,structural features and waterfall landscape.There are 4 categories and 5 subcategories,with a total of 67 geoheritages.The value of geoheritages is evaluated qualitatively and quantitatively.Through the comparative analysis of granite landforms,the scientific value,aesthetic value,science popularization value and tourism value are evaluated qualitatively.For the quantitative evaluation for each geoheritage,six evaluation indicators are firstly used including scientific value,aesthetic value,typicality,systematization,rarity and oddity.Then the weight of each evaluation factor is calculated,and the score of each geoheritage is given,finally the grade of each geoheritage is determined.Among them,there are 5 national-level geoheritages.The remaining 62 geoheritages are autonomous region level.The AHP was used to evaluate the comprehensive utilization value of geoheritages,and a total of 25 evaluation indicators were selected from the 5 aspects of geoheritages resources,auxiliary landscape,geographical environment conditions,tourist source conditions and social and economic conditions.The score was calculated,and the geopark was determined as a first-class tourism resource by referring to the evaluation criteria.In view of the existing problems exposed in the evaluation results,some suggestions are put forward in order to provide reference for the merging,optimization and integration of the natural reserve of Balinzuoqi in the future,to promote the geoheritages protection,scientific research and science popularization,and the sustainable development of local economy and society.
