Ring spinning was invented by Thop in 1828,it has mature technology and wide adaptability.The yarns of 5tex-300tex is spinning with ring spinning.It is used in cotton spinning,wool spinning,hemp spinning and silk spinning.At the same time,there is something shortage in the traditional ring spinning.The twisting process and the winding process are accomplished simultaneously in the traditional ring spinning.This is the main reason why the traditional ring spinning is so inefficient.The spinning speed is improved by some new spinning technology,such as Air Jet spinning and Air Jet vortex spinning,whose spinning speed is 350m/min-400m/min,almost 20 times over that for ring spinning.This is because the twisting process is accomplished with airflow.But the traditional ring spinning plays an irreplaceable role because of its stable yarn quality.So,the application of the airflow in the new spinning technology is the basis of this thesis.The combination of air-jet vortex spinning and ring spinning emerges based on the above dissertation.We can improve the spinning speed by reducing the twist's dependence on the traveller and ring.So we can install a new equipment named air-jet vertex device between the front Rolla and the traveller,airflow plays an important role in this equipment.The roving after drafting will own twist in the air-jet vertex device,so the load of the traveller and ring will cut downgreatly,and their efficiency will increase greatly.The computational zone of flow field inside the air-jet vertex device is got by applying the Software Gambit,and then the Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD)Model inside the air-jet vertex device is constructed.The CFD model adapts the standard ?-? turbulent model and uses the SIMPLE algorithm to disperse the governing equations,which is solved iteratively.The process of solving the CFD model is completed in Fluid Software FLUENT 6.3.We can get some result by the research of the airflow,speed,pressures The research results show that as follows:three-dimensional rotating airflow is formed in the air-jet vertex device,then it flow to the export like a helix and reduce gradually.static pressure is distributed like an U shape along the radius,the pressure is very low in middle of the air-jet vortex spinning.the theory of swirling airflow is fit for the tangential airflow,which make the fiber twist.The numerical simulation of the air-jet vortex spinning is the foundation to improve the traditional ring spinning.At the same time,the motion of the roving in the air-jet vortex spinning are analyzed,the instantaneous force of the roving is also got.Then the tangential force,axial force and radial direction force are analyzed.At last,the traditional ring spinning is improved based on the above analysis,then different yarns are got,so the different pictures of the yarns.The result shows all of the above analysis.Above all,this thesis include many theoretical research experimental analysis,it is very important to improve the efficiency of the traditional ring spinning technology.
