In the process of continuous annealing line production,strip often appear the phenomenen such as wandering,broken belt,which seriously affect the quality of the products and productions,impose appropriate tension on strip is the necessary condition to prevent the above phenomenen,at the same time the tension in the process of steady state performance of high-speed operation of the line also has an important influence,visible,ensure the tension plays a vital role into the stable operation of the steel strip.This thesis,taking a continuous annealing production line of Baosteel Co.,Ltd.as the research object,through the study of the tension control system,analysis to reduce volatility,stable production methods,the research content is as follows:The researches in this paper first combined with continuous annealing production line of baosteel cold rolling process and electrical control system,analysised and comparisoned of indirect tension control,direct tension control and hybrid control mode of control,and further study on tension control theory;Second,focus on the tension control method,direct including division of labor and the interface between PLC and Drive,looper tension value generation and the processing of the actual value,the realization of direct tension control,looper strip weight compensation,looper deceleration when the bottom roll compensation,etc;Finally,analyzed the looper balance control and optimization improvement scheme.Through analysis and comparison of the Hitachi and Siemens for looper balance control of different control scheme,the advantages and disadvantages of the control effected are analyzed and evaluated,combined with the characteristics of both formed the engineering characteristic of the looper balance control scheme,and could get the higher control precision.Results show that through indirect tension control and detail of direct tension control system,and combining the analysis of the live set of tension control system,optimize the loop tension control scheme,formed a more precise control precision control scheme,improve production stability,but also provide a reference for the same type unit production system optimization problems.
