Along with society development,commercial heavy duty vehicles quantities sharply soring also,nevertheless there's a key component must have in each commercial vehicle,Air compressor.Air compressor main purpose is generate press air for commercial vehicle,and these pressure air use of breaking,parking,suspension adjudge,and pneumatic control like,city bus door control,automatic transmutation shift.A critical parameter for compressor is lubricate Oil carry over(OCO),the OCO is when compressor working in on load mode a few of the lubricate oil go through discharge cavity along with air flow.Good OCO performance of compressor will guarantee it running better.This problem was reached in this article,and designed an OCO measure system.First,proposing the mothed measuring lubrication oil consumption with scale to weigh,use scale constantly weigh the oil,compare oil reduction of each neighbor hour,through those data analyze compressor oil consumption of each hour.Use this approach evaluate compressor oil consumption can fully cover all the lubrication oil reduction,such as the carbonized oil by high temperature,and some of oil take away along with the pressed air at the on duty period of compressor,etc.all of them can be detect by this method.Second,build up compressor OCO(Oil Carry Over)test platform,to investigation compressor oil consumption.Measurement platform was include driving system,oil supply system,coolant flow system,air venting system,try to simulate whole environment of compressor which use in real filed of vehicle system.Use NI Lab VIEW develop user software,all parameters of compressor are collected during running.In other hand,during compressor running accompany with high velocity,high temperature,high pressure and other hazardous factors,it can lead people injured even dead and catch fire risk,avoid those risk use Pilz safety PLC to monitor system.Finally,using NI DIAdem analysis software to analyze compressor OCO raw data,get compressor real oil consumption.In the period of new product developing stage,study compressor oil consumption performance will benefit to improve design defects,make compressor more robust,reduce air compressor with high oil consumption release to mass production phase,let them goes to market,eliminate customer claim,decrease the air pollution and end user's money lost.
