Design And Application Of Home Textile Pattern Based On Fractal Graphics

Fractal graphics are a kind of visual expression that using computer to visualize it?s inner beauty of mathematics.Using simple mathematical principles and in accordance with certain rules can generate complex fractal graphics that the interior of it fully reflects the art of order and change.The all-encompassing fractal graphics with a variety of artistic style,its infinitely elaborate hierarchy and self-similar features lay in both the part and the whole of the fractal graphics,contain rigorous mathematical beauty and new aesthetic interpretation.The fractal graphics is the product of the progress of modern science and technology,meanwhile rational design methods and efficient digital technology to make it has a wide range of practical value,and it will provide new pattern design methods and ideas for designers.The purpose of this paper is to find out a new visual image of the home textile patterns,according to the design method of the textile pattern to create and discuss,and to better combine the theme requirements of the curtains,bedding and pillow patterns to try out new creative ways.First of all,this paper through studying the basic research of fractal theory introduces the generation principle,generating method,composition rule and aesthetic characteristic of fractal graphics.The research status of home textile design was discussed from the concept,the history of development,the classification and other aspects and put forward applying fractal graphics to home textiles is feasible.Secondly,fractal images with various natural morphologies that have been designed by the instructor's laboratory team staffs or generated by using the ?Ultra Fractal? software are divided into several pattern types,such as the imitation flowers graphics,the imitation trees graphics and the imitation animals graphics.Following the appearance feature of the fractal graphics to cut it,meanwhile adjust its color and use other graphic processing methods to form a series of single patterns that can be used for hereafter home textiles patterns design.Then,according to the formal beauty rules and structure elements of the home textiles patterns design,through the use of collage,combination,repeat and so on,designed fractal pattern with a pastoral style,Chinese style,small fresh style and modern style.The paper discusses the design method and the practice process of using fractal patterns to imitate different styles? home textile pattern.In the end,according to the design points,styles and shapes of curtains,beddings and pillows,designed different theme performance' fractal patterns,simulated its' apply on textiles and created its products.Then,The heat-transfer printing practice to prove fractal patterns on the curtains and other textiles' the physical effects and simulation effects are not different.The fractal pattern that combines the features of the home textile pattern has unique artistic beauty,and the test shows that the design method of home textile pattern based on fractal graphics is feasible.
