Application Of Geometric Quilting Pattern In Home Textile Design

Geometric figures originated very early.There are a large number of geometric figures in ancient cultures all over the world,which have been widely used.And quilting is one of the ancient traditional crafts in China.Once quilting technology rooted in the fertile soil of The Times,everywhere,no matter the dignitars or ordinary people are used and love.By now quilting is everywhere in our lives.With the pursuit of personalized consumers,some may think that traditional geometric patterns can no longer match the colorful home textile market.Therefore,geometric quilting pattern,with its unique art form,special function and rich cultural implication,is applied in household textile design,and brings infinite thought spark and spiritual touch to household textile design.This paper adopts the method of literature research,experimental research and field research,and on the basis of referring to relevant literature theories and cases,analyzes and studies the application of geometric quilting pattern in modern home textile design.First,this paper takes geometric quilting pattern as the research object,and gives an overview of its origin and development trend at home and abroad.Secondly,through the analysis of geometric quilting patterns,the modeling characteristics and artistic characteristics of geometric quilting patterns are summarized.Thirdly,the application of geometric quilting pattern in home textile design is discussed,and the significance of home textile design is summarized,which is conducive to the combination of traditional and fashionable beauty,the satisfaction of consumers' personalized needs,the expression of personal emotion and good meaning.The fourth is to analyze the feasibility of modeling,color,composition and materials of geometric quilting patterns in the innovative design of modern home textiles,and to conduct experimental operations and summarize and analyze by grasping current trends.Fifthly,the geometric quilting pattern is integrated with other crafts to achieve the home textile design with different artistic aesthetics.The sixth part combines the above analysis to apply the fabric of geometric quilting pattern to the household textile design,extract and design the geometric quilting pattern elements,and finally combine the methods of hand-drawing and computer design to present the design works in the form of applied effect diagram.
