Application Design Of Wuhu Cross Stitch Pattern In Modern Home Textile Products

As a kind of folk traditional handicraft,Wuhu cross stitch has its own characteristics and advantages after a long period of accumulation and development.Under the influence of Huizhou merchants culture,Wuhu cross stitch has the regional characteristics of southern Anhui,which leads to the artistic style of Wuhu cross stitch,which is simple and beautiful in color,varied in pattern and precise and neat in composition.However,due to the progress of science and technology,the craft of flower picking has gradually declined,and the local culture has been ignored by people.Today,the craft of Wuhu cross stitch has entered a situation where there are few successors and it is facing extinction,there is very little literature on Wuhu cross stitch.There are many kinds of embroidery in China,but there is a distinct difference between Chinese embroidery and Chinese embroidery in Wuhu.It needs to be protected,inherited,innovated and developed.This paper is based on the study of the Wuhu cross stitch folk art,first of all,through interviews and exchanges with collectors of Wuhu cross stitch,we get the primary date,comb the existing fabric information,the study analyzes the historical background and development of Wuhu cross stitch,and then explores the influence of Huizhou merchants culture on wuhu cross stitch the composition of patterns,subject categories,color characteristics,and special techniques of Wuhu cross stitch are summarized,and the Cultural Connotation of cross stitch is explored.Secondly,with the infiltration of "Home Culture",people's material level has improved and the requirements for home textile products have become higher and higher,through the analysis of the current domestic home textile market,the emotional expression of home textile products and the individuality pursuit of home textile design,this paper probes into the feasibility of the application design of the Wuhu cross stitch patter in modern home textile products,and the innovation that needs to be done.Based on the Song Dynasty Hanfu as the source of inspiration,combined with the Wuhu cross stitch pattern,a family of four designed a series of home clothes for parents and children,the hope can build one kind of family member emotion resonance,the family culture is harmonious,lives at home the environment elegant life atmosphere.The essence of design is to serve people.According to this concept,from the emotional expression of home textile and people's pursuit of the individuality of home textile,through the extraction of the Wuhu cross stitch patterns,the selection of fabric colors,the selection of the production process,the creation of material bags and DIY designs from Wuhu cross stitch can draw attention to Wuhu cross stitch and raise awareness of the protection of local culture.It can also enrich the cultural connotation of home textile products,and a better legacy for Wuhu cross stitch.
