The quilting machine is a textile equipment used to sew bedding,curtains,blankets and other linear patterns,and has a large demand in the textile industry.However,most of the domestic quilting equipment in the automation level is relatively backward.The processing platform has the disadvantages of unfriendly operation interface,low precision,and poor stability,which affects the quality of quilting and brings about losses to the economic benefits of enterprises.In view of the above problems,this paper takes a single-needle computer quilting machine as the research object.After systematically analyzing the functional requirements of the computer quilting machine control system,drive and control integrated machine of SYNTEC is used in the field of quilting machine for the first time by using the numerical control technology,the modern quilting technology and the CAD/CAM technology,to meet the needs of customers for low-cost,high-performance models.The main research work is as follows.(1)According to the processing technology characteristics of computer quilting machine,the overall scheme of the control system is designed,and the key PLC ladder diagram and four-axis synchronous control of the hardware system are studied.(2)The generation algorithm of pattern work is studied,in which the pattern elements include dotted line,straight line,Z line,arc,circle and spline curve.Aiming at the shortcomings of the current pattern of the spline curve pattern in the quilting machine only by the straight line approximation method,the double-arc fitting algorithm is used for the first time to obtain the basic pattern of line and arc data by Mat Lab programming,and the line and arc pattern are evenly distributed in the threshold range.(3)Based on the Win Form program of Visual Studio2015 C#,through analyzing the DAT file format and designing the conversion interface,a new CAD pattern software is developed,which can compile the pattern file into a quilting G code and can realize the functions of pattern preview,simulation processing,file compilation,real-time monitoring and so on.;Based on the e HMI software,the host control software of the control integrated machine of SYNTEC is developed by calling the MACRO program to complete the customization of the pattern file and the project package.Finally,the control system was debugged and verified.The test results show that the man-machine interface of the CAD software and the host control software of the control integrated machine is friendly,real-time,stable,easy to upgrade and maintain.The double-arc fitting algorithm can guarantee the uniformity of the stitching point of the processing pattern and the error within the error range,and the various performance indicators of the computer quilting machine can reach the expected effect.
