The extraction process,structure,properties and application of tea saponin were studied with tea seed meal as raw material.The main contents were as follows:1.Tea saponin was extracted from tea seed meal by Microwave-assisted alkaline ethanol solution.On the basis of single factor test,the extraction process was optimized by response surface method.The results showed that the optimum conditions for tea saponin extraction were as follows:ethanol volume fraction was73.35%,extraction time was 8min,pH was 9.07,extraction temperature was 60oCand microwave power was 613W,material-to-liquid ratio was 1:12?120 mL liquid per gram materials?,Under these conditions,the extraction yield of tea saponin was21.64%,obviously superior to the conventional water extraction method?9.36%?and ethanol extraction method?11.34%?.2.The surface tension of tea saponin was studied,and the foaming power,emulsifying abilities,detergency,solubility and biodegradability of tea saponin were measured respectively.The critical micelle concentration?CMC?of the product was3.9×10-5mol/L,and the surface tension at this concentration was 34.8mN/m.The solubility of tea saponin to benzene was 29880mL/mol.Compare to sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate?SDBS?and Tween 80?Tween 80?,the tea saponin has good wetting and dehumidification and emulsification foaming and biodegradability.3.The critical colloid concentration and its influencing factors of tea saponin were studied experimentally.The results showed that the critical micelle concentration decreased with temperature increasing and decreased with increasing ionic strength,whereas the effect of ionic strength on the critical micelle concentration of tea saponin was greater than that of temperature.The solubilization of tea saponin to phenanthroline and naphthalene and the influencing factors were studied.The results indicated that tea saponin had good solubilization ability to phenanthrene and naphthalene.The solubilizing ability enhanced with increasing temperature and ionic strength.At then,The adsorption of tea saponin in soil and the eluting effect on the contaminated soil of phenanthrene and naphthalene were researched,respectively.Conclusion that tea saponin had a good eluting effect on phenanthrene and naphthalene-contaminated soil was obtained.4.Orthogonal experiment was applied to determine the surfactant compounding system for shampoo.The best compounding system were:AES 12%,tea saponin 10%,K12A 3.5%,CAB-35 3.0%,6501 0.5%.The produced shampoo has high safety,good stability and excellent conditioning performance.
