When the coal seam is mined in the lower coal seam, the problem of spontaneous combustion of the coal seam caused by the air leakage is the key problem in the coal mine working face.Aiming at the control of spontaneous combustion in 5401 working face with complex mining conditions, the mathematical model of airflow field, oxygen concentration field and temperature field in goaf is established. The location and spontaneous combustion state of spontaneous combustion zone in goaf are simulated and analyzed.According to air route and pressure energy analysis, pressure relief type pressure balancing ventilation for fire control technology is optimally designed,by which it gradually opens the 504 sealing wall to reverse the route of the leakage air from the face return side to the spontaneous combustion danger zone in the goaf and even produce wind stop. Thus CO and other harmful gases are refrained from gushing into the working face.It analyzes the effect of pressure relief type pressure balance ventilation to goaf spontaneous combustion danger zone that in the upper goaf the left coal seam 3#oxidation oxidation spontaneous combustion area reaches a critical temperature above 85 ?,and keeps over 60daya.5401 goaf coal oxidation does not enter the critical state and can be kept for a long time. After implementing the pressure relief type pressure balance for fire control technology, the air leakage from the ground surface to the working face is greatly reduced, and the concentration of CO gas in the goaf and the borehole are all reduced to 0 ppm rapidly, which ensures 5401 working face safely moved to the new cutting hole within one month.
