Modeling and solving of pipe network system is the key for the dynamic simulation and for the simulation of oil and gas pipeline transportation process.In the field of network modeling and simulation,foreign software algorithms are not open and the application cost is high,while the domestic software generally has many problems such as applicability,computational efficiency and numerical stability.In order to solve the problems above and make simulation for the complex pipeline transportation system,it is imperative to develop a general algorithm.In this paper,the author established a mathematical model for the pipe network system.Based on the analysis of the process topology,the complex network system was automatically identified and simplified into an equivalent simple pipeline.A recursive algorithm was used to complete the calculation of the equivalent pipeline,then the equivalent pipe was reduced to a complex pipe network,and the calculation of the whole network system was completed.The preliminary design algorithm has proved that it can simulate most of the pipe network system in practice.However,in the more complex pipe network system,the algorithm is difficult to apply.After studying the algorithm of pipeline network,the author finds the root of the problem,then optimizes and improves the algorithm.The algorithm solves the problems of universality and stability thoroughly,and achieves efficient solution and precise solution.In this paper,the Natural Gas Liquid(NGL)transmission pipeline network is used as an example for the simulation.The simulation results show that,for the complex oil and gas pipeline network,the algorithm has strong applicability,high versatility,fast solution speed and accurate calculation results,and can meet the requirements of simulation.As an example of n-Butane Isomerization,the algorithm also make good simulation results.The software can simulate the butane isomerization process in a real way and lay the foundation for the process optimization.
