With the development of industry,the ceramic production process has been constantly improved.In the process,the green body drying is very important,which not only affects the product quality,but also affects the energy consumption and production cost.Recently,there are many drying methods.Herein,the hot air drying technique has been studied.Compared with other techniques,it has rich hot source,cheap price,and most commonly used.In addition,its mechanical control system is simple,and easy to be maintained.Specifically,the hot air drying technology has been studied in this paper.Firstly,according to the drying mechanism of ceramic body,the paper has analyzed the structure characteristics of the hot air drying system,and then according to the control requirements of hot air drying control system,the controlled parameter are the temperature and humidity in the drying room,and has determined the characteristics of control system: strong time-varying,strong coupling,nonlinear and so on.Secondly,according to the system control characteristics,the control scheme has been determined.The temperature and humidity in the drying process have strong coupling,so decoupling must be applied before using the control algorithm.After comparing various decoupling strategies,using absolute humidity to solving relative humidity in decoupling has been determined finally.Therefore,after the decoupling,the control system can be decomposed into the temperature control system and the humidity control system alone.Then the improved direct generalized predictive algorithm has been used for iterative optimization.Through the simulation research,the scheme is feasible,and the control system has higher accuracy and better stability,which can meet the precision control requirements of temperature and humidity in the drying system.Finally,according to the requirements of the control system,the specific implementation platform of the control process has been built.This paper has used the PLC as the core controller,and implemented the logic control for each signal of the control system.In order to optimize the processing of temperature and humidity signals,the ARM controller has been selected as the acquisition and processor.At the same time,HMI has been used as the upper computer,which can realize the real-time monitoring and modify the operation parameters online.After the research,The platform is feasible.
