| Many stroller manufacturers or designers do not put resource into risk identification during design or process development.Accidents or injuries occur to consumers after mass production and shipment,then the manufacturer will have to bear the loss of reputation and market.In this thesis,quality control methods were introduced and studied for projects development of premium stroller.The first innovation is to introduce the quality planning for project development.To make a realiable quality planning,a cross-function team should be built.By doing this,customers’ requirements can be identified at the early stage.All related parties should be involved into the quality planning and contribute to project development.The second innovation is to introduce the tool of potential failure mode and effect analysis,so that the team can identify potential risks during design development or process development.Once risks are identified,the team can take actions to reduce or eliminate the risks.Besides,team valuable experiences could be shared and documented.The third innovation is to link the design development and process development together.The outputs of design development like special characteristics study,design failure mode and effect analysis,etc.could be taken as the input of process flow chart,process failure mode and effect analysis and control plans.The forth innovation is to introduce process audit.By doing process audit,the team can compare all the related inputs and outputs and the team can take actions by identifying needs and risks.Comparing with traditional stroller projects,some tools,ideas and methods will be introduced into premium stroller projects and these new tools,ideas and methods will help to improve the stability of product quality.It is of great importance to study the use of these new tools,ideas and methods. |
