Papermaking Reconstituted tobacco sheet industry,as a derivative industry in the traditional paper industry,has continued to grow and develop.Tobacco production has also been continuously updated with the huge demand.At present,the production of tobacco sheet basically adopts the General grinding disc of the papermaking process,making the processing intensity of tobacco raw materials,such as stems and tobacco,is not matched with the need of production,resulting in a uniform difference in the tobacco slurry,and further affecting the performance of the tobacco sheet.In order to solve this problem,according to the characteristics of tobacco raw materials,compared with pulp,tobacco raw materials have many small components and many parenchyma cells,which lead to the breakage and cutting of raw materials during the beating process.New Defibration-disc,with staggered tooth,were used to defibrillate the tobacco raw materials.The beating degree,wet weight,fiber sieving,and fiber morphology of the tobacco pulp were measured.The beating and papermaking experiments of the tobacco pulp and the physics of the tobacco flake were also tested.Firstly,for the tobacco stems taken,the defibration experiments for the pulp were conducted using the new defibrillation-discs and the conventional defibration discs for the defibration of Tobacco raw materials respectively.It was found that the retention ratio of the slurry,defibrated by the new tooth discs,at the 50 mesh and 100 mesh screens is 5 to 10 times higher than that of the conventional toothed disks at the same disc spacing.After defibration with new defibrillation-discs,the pulping degree of the stem pulp was 10~oSR and the wet weight was less than 10g.To obtain the optimal performance of the above stem pulp slurry performance,it was found that we should set the new tooth disc spacing around 1mm.Secondly,we studied the beating effect of fiber tobacco pulp,and the physical properties of the corresponding tobacco slices.It was found that tobacco pulp defibrillated by new defibrillation-discs exhibited an easy-to-be-pulping state,and 3%pulp consistency and2000r-PFI pulping could achieve the extreme limit pulp.The slurry concentration can protect the physical effect of the refiner that the slurry is subjected to during the beating,which can be offset by the higher beating strength.Compared with the pulping and papermaking of the conventional defibration discs,without the addition of external fibers,the defibration slurry from the conventional defibration discs is difficult to Papermaking when the defibration disc spacing is more than 0.5mm,the defibration slurry from the new tooth disc can be successfully to Papermaking at a 2.0 mm disc spacing and found that the beating and wet weight of the pulp slurry do not change in synchronization when the pulp slurry is beaten,and the fibers morphology of the pulp after beating will result in an anomaly due to the addition of Tobacco powder.After defibration at a 1.1mm disc spacing,the pulp was beaten with1500r-PFI and 1800r-PFI,adding 18%additional fiber with a degree of beating of 32°SR,the tensile strength of the resulting tobacco sheet could reach around 1000 N/m,and the loosening thickness of the resulting tobacco sheet is around 3.0 cm~3/g;Without adding the additional fiber,after the pulping at the slurry concentration of 10%and the pulping strength of 1500r-PFI,the looseness of the sheeting can effectively reach 4.6 cm~3/g.
