| As an important kind of automobile die,automobile structural components progressive die has complicated construction,many parts and difficult to design.During the design process of it,the engineer should calculate and design every parts by manual.This is boring and time-consuming.With the development of the auto market,enterprises are eager to improve die design efficiency and design quality.At present,some mould CAD systems are used for auxiliary mould design already,but from the point of use effect,the level of integration,professionalization and customization of those system are not high,so they are hard to be used as progressive die design system for Automobile structural components.In the further study of automobile structural components forming process and characteristics of progressive die,arming at the shortcomings of the current design process,the paper proposes a new method to create working parts of progressive die based on components.By this method,the creating process of working parts can be divided into two phases.The one is creating of component prototypes,and the other one is editing of components.In the first,the paper classified the typical blanking component structure,introduced the design method of them.Then,the paper designed model template of component by parametric and templatize technology,introduced the method of assembling model template dynamically.At last,the paper designed the tools for designing of blanking component of progressive die.As a subsystem,the tools run on the platform of Siemens NX 8.5.It can be used for managing the global parameters,designing and editing the component of blanking,trimming,lancing,semi-shearing.At present,the tools have been put into practice,basically meet the design requirements of the enterprise,effectively shorten the design cycle,and improving the design quality and efficiency. |
