Ball end mill in all props processing is a large number of processing technology and geometric shape of one of the most complex props.Ball end mill is mainly used for milling all kinds of curved surface,circular groove,etc,in the automotive,ship,aircraft manufacturing and other fields have a wide range of applications.These areas of the accuracy of the parts have a high demand,so the ball end milling cutter grinding is good or bad,it will directly affect the normal use of parts,CNC machine tool grinding results directly reflect the cutting results of milling cutter.According to the research status of ball end mill at home and abroad,aiming at the five axis CNC machine tool WBS5-60,according to the structure of machine tool,we designed and studied the rake face,two flank face and spiral groove processing method of ball end milling cutter.The cutting depth for the existing processing methods in the rake face in the process can't be accurately controlled and the ball head and the cylindrical part of the problem can not be smooth connection of the deep research and application of geometry,coordinate changes,numerical analysis theory,the research and development of a ball can be processed in five axis CNC machine set the algorithm of cutter.The mathematic model of the rake face and the flank face is simulated and compared by using matlab,and the feasibility of the new algorithm is verified and compared with the structure of the previous study.The rake face model and the flank face model Conducted a comparative analysis.Analysis of the characteristics of the line and the relevant parameters.Using the Pro/E on the five-axis CNC machine tools and tool abrasive for three-dimensional modeling.the built model into VERICUT simulation,according to the coordinate transformation,the front and rear processing algorithms,and five-axis CNC system,such as the principle of movement code The preparation of debugging,simulation verification.Finally,the application of C++ and MFC to build five-axis CNC system operating software.the ball end mill processing algorithms and interface parameter adjustment and other content added to the software system,in the real production,the processing of the ball end mill to test Correction.Through simulation and actual processing to compare the modeling and processing methods to correct the correctness.
