With the continuous improvement of the production capacity of enterprises,the original drying process and equipment of enterprises cannot meet the production needs.In view of the bottleneck of insufficient drying capacity,the loss of heat-sensitive active ingredients and the blockage of spray drying equipment with high-viscosity materials.Enterprises have introduced vacuum belt drying technology and equipment to gradually replace the original drying process equipment.But Systematic reliability and feasibility studies were required.And made comparison with the original process to verify the reliability and practicality of the method.The paper has done the following four aspects of work.1.The vacuum belt drying process for temperature-sensitive Chinese medicine extract.JIN QI JIANG TANG PIAN was selected for this study,by using the orthogonal test design and multi-index comprehensive scoring method,the key process parameters of vacuum belt drying process of temperature sensitive traditional Chinese medicine extract were identified.The optimal process conditions for a extract were the heating temperature at 120 DC ? 115 DC ? 110 DC;crawler speed 0.30m/min;feed rate 0.80kg/min.Compared with the original vacuum drying oven,the efficiency was significantly improved,which was more suitable for continuous production of a extract.2.The vacuum belt drying process for high sugar content extract.LONG QING PIAN was selected for this study.In order to avoid the clogging and scaling problem of original spray drying process.The content of solid content,the content of effective components,the yield of product and water content were taken as the indexes.By using multi-index comprehensive research the key parameters: the heating temperature was 135 DC ?1200C ?110 °C,the crawler speed was 0.30m/min the feed rate was 0.50kg/min.Some solutions were put forward existing problem.3.Three more medicines were tested by the above method in this study: NIU HUANG JIE DU PIAN,NV JIN PIAN,XIAO JI HUA ZHI PIAN extract.The vacuum belt drying process for their extract.The quality of products from new process were up to standard with energy saving and high efficiency.According to Chinese pharmacopoeia,This study also estabilish quality standard system for the vacuum belt drying production.The quality of products from new process were up to standard.The vacuum belt drying method's working temperature was in contral,energy saving,high efficiency.In particular,it has solved the productivity bottleneck of the large variety of enterprises,which embodies the great value of application.It is a beneficial supplement to the traditional Chinese medicine drying method.
