With the gradual improvement of mining technology intensive level,the installed capacity of armored face conveyor(AFC)is increasing,and it's moving in the direction of large-scale,high reliability,intelligent.The traditional driving methods have not been able to meet the requirements of the AFC drive and operation,and can cause significant problems.Based on the analysis and comparison of several commonly used drive modes,it is decided to use variable frequency drive as the drive mode of AFC.To this end,the AFC variable frequency drive system and its adaptation to the dynamics of the whole machine have been studied.The main work and research results of this paper are as follows:The dynamic model based on the mechanical characteristics of variable frequency motor is built.Based on this,the simulation model of the drive system is established by using the S function module of Matlab/Simulink.Then,the direct torque control(DTC)method is adopted to establish the electrical model of the variable frequency motor.In view of the large pulsation of the traditional DTC system,a DTC system model based on SVPWM is established.The inverter control strategy and performance evaluation index are given,which provides a theoretical basis for the reasonable selection of control parameters.Based on the basic idea of finite element method,the discretization model of chain drive system is established.After that,a complete model of AFC is built by reasonably selecting the interface variables.Using Visual C++ and Matlab combined programming technology,the variable frequency driven AFC dynamics software design platform is developed to generate the required working condition results quickly.The SGZ1000/2×1000 conveyor is selected to simulate the whole machine under different working conditions by means of the developed software platform.The effect of different control parameters on the start-up process of the conveyor is analyzed,which provides a theoretical basis and data support for selecting the optimal control strategy of the frequency conversion.After compared with the system driven by the variable frequency motor and hydraulic coupling under the same working condition,it can be concluded that variable frequency drive can obviously improve the soft start performances.In this paper,the variable frequency drive of AFC is analyzed in depth.The simulation model of the whole conveyor system is established and the simulation curves of the system are obtained under its different operating conditions.It provides a theoretical basis and engineering guidance for the selection of high-power conveyor drive mode and inverter motor control strategy.
