Glass and ceramic is emerging popularly in today's society of hard brittle materials,favoring by scholars in the field of material,making its application scope is more and more widely.But high brittleness and high hardness of hard and brittle materials make it difficult for the precision machining and prone to poor quality and crack.The machining mechanism is more complex especially in micro machining because of the influence of size effect to machining process.And the rapid development of micro milling technology,greatly improved the processing aspect.So it is necessary to the dynamic nature of micro milling equipment in-depth research and to improve machining hard and fragile materials,hasing the very vital significance.In this paper,firstly from the characteristics of hard brittle materials plastic domain processing and processing mechanism,analysis of hard brittle materials processing,the minimum cutting thickness and the critical cutting depth,etc.,combining with laboratory micro milling experiment platform for micro parts and each part diameter ball head milling cutter and its clamping structure.A detailed analysis for the micro milling experiment platform of the improved scheme provides a technical requirements.Secondly,using Solidworks 3D graphics software established in accordance with the actual size of micro milling experiment platform geometric model,and combined with the characteristics of the simulation analysis software ANSYS Workbench.Little influence on the result of the simulation analysis is to simplify the structure of or remove,and then the modal analysis of micro milling experiment platform,greatly shorten the time of analysis.In this paper,by completing existing micro milling experiment platform as the research object and basing on the modal analysis of finite element simulation results,to get the micro milling experiment platform of natural frequency,vibration mode figure,and the simulation results to make use of the experimental verification.The results show that the simulation results with high accuracy;Using the analysis software of topology optimization function of micro milling experiment platform weak link is optimized to improve its structure stiffness,so as to achieve the purpose of dynamic characteristics optimization of micro milling experiment platform.
