The electronic industry has developed rapidly with the development of China's economic electronic products market.The wave soldering and its supporting facilities are significant factors in the entire electronic industry.The dusts generated in the wave soldering discharge system could potentially result in fire hazard and even contribute to the spread of fire in the discharge system.It caused huge economic loss and negative social impacts because it happened frequently.Therefore,it should be very important to inverstigate the fire's mechanisms and to control the occurrence and spreading in time.The research methods combine theoretical research and laboratory tests for the combustion characteristics for dusts in the wave soldering discharge system in order to provide effective actions for enterprise.The dynamic simulation for wave soldering discharge system combustion was simulated by FDS with which the foundation of fire consequences is provided.The main contents are as follows:(1)The physical and chemical properties of the condensate of the wave soldering ventilation ducts were tested.The main composition is rosin after three representative samples from wave soldering discharge system are tested.They all have strong flammability during the tests on the flammability of three samples.(2)The basic theory for FDS,including conservation equations,combustion models,radiation heat transfer and thermal boundary conditions are adopted.The FDS and Smokeview's functions are applied to analyze the flow and output data.(3)The combustion model for wave soldering discharge system by Pyrosim software was established.The temperature and velocity of the airflow in the air duct and the combustion development are obtained by simulation.The three-dimensional animation is generated by Smokeview which enables visual observation of the development trend of the fire inside the duct.The distribution of air flow and temperature in wave soldering exhaust system are then analyzed.The solutions and suggestions how to prevent the occurrence in wave soldering exhaust system and to reduce the consequence for the fire accident from the technical and management level according to the simulation results are also presented.In summary,it is easily to cause fire accidents and had serious consequences because the dust condensate in wave soldering discharge system is flammable.Corresponding and effective protective measures in the production process have to be taken.
