With the rapid development of the world economy today,our demand for energy gradually expanded,for the development of deep-sea fault block reservoir also put on the agenda.However,due to the special nature of the offshore oil field,the lack of experience in the development of deep-sea oil fields,the current deep-sea oil and gas field development is facing enormous challenges.In this paper,a deep-sea block oil and gas field in medium-pore osmotic sandstone in A field is taken as an example to study the development of deep-sea fault block reservoir.Four results are obtained:(1)The design of a suitable deep sea and small fault block oil field development project;(2)The various characteristics of A reservoir are studied accurately,including its reservoir physical properties,fluid properties,pore structure,horizontal distribution,structural characteristics,pressure system,etc.,and got more understanding going through these research;(3)The three-dimensional geological model including the tectonic model,the fault model and the reservoir physical properties model is established,and the geological modeling method of deep-sea fault block reservoir similar to A reservoir is obtained.;(4)Three sets of development schemes suitable for A reservoir are put forward.After the comparative study,the most suitable development plan was established,and the part of the exploration wells were recommended to transform into the production wells.By summing up the experience of the development of the international deep sea fault block reservoir and combining with the development characteristics of the offshore oil field in China,a set of deep sea fault block reservoir development technology has been formed,which has great importance to the development of offshore oilfield.
