1,4-Dihydroxy-9,10-anthracenedione is an important chemical Intermediate.The development and improvement of the technology of 1,4-Dihydroxy-9,10-anthracenedione has great significance to our company,a large enterprise focusing on dye production.Based on our current practical experience of producing 1,4-Dihydroxy-9,10-anthracenedione,we conducted the analysis of previous production process and the mother liquor wastewater composition,and protocolled a relatively economic and reasonable solution to disposing the waste water.The improvements were as follows:The mixture of o-Phthalic anhydride and Phthalic acid was used instead of o-Phthalic anhydride as starting material for the synthesis of 1,4-Dihydroxy-9,10-anthracenedione.Phthalic acid and diluted acid from effluent were separated by crystallization and macroporous resin.The recycled Phthalic acid could be reused in the production of 1,4-Dihydroxy-9,10-anthracenedioneand the recuperated diluted acid was used to produce the disperse dyes or sulfate.By the improved process,emission of the three wastes decreased significantly and the atom economy was raised during the production of 1,4-Dihydroxy-9,10-anthracenedione.It's meaningful to the environmental protection and meets the basic requirement of clean production,thus realizing the basic target of recycling economy.
