Economic belt of Yangtze-river middle reaches is the important economic axis that linking the west and east.Under the drive of economic benefit,urbanization rate of Yangtze-river middle reaches have increase rapidly,however,there are many ecological problems behind the development.Therefore,this paper takes the Yangtze river middle reaches level city as the research object,firstly,to learn more theories at home and abroad,and using the global principal component method to construct the level of urbanization and ecological environment quality index system and evaluate them,then,on the basis of using the coupling model to analysis coupling and coupling coordination degree of the middle reach of Yangtze river from 2000 to 2013,at the same time to analyze the differences in temporal and spatial evolution.In addition,to explore relationships between urbanization and eco-environment system that using the grey correlation degree.So as to provide the references between ecological environment quality and the urbanization development in order to develop better couplings.There are main conclusions as follows:(1)2000~2013,the ecological environment quality increases slowly,and shows trend of "S" in the middle reach of Yangtze river,but the urbanization level increases rapidly that the increase trend is the same as "L".(2)2000?2013,The coupling degrees increase slowly in the cities of the middle reach of Yangtze-river,but the coupling coordination degrees are increase significantly.Then the coupling differences between different cities urbanization levels.Cities of class Ⅰ(Cities with high levels of urbanization)transfer antagonism to adjust in 2003,but coordination degree from moderate to high transition and coordination in 2003 and 2010;In turn,class of Ⅱ(with a medium level of urbanization city)it’s coupling is divided into three categories:"early antagonism in the late"、antagonism and running-in alternately,long-term antagonism,and in 2007 and 2010,most Ⅱ class city’s coordination degree between ecological environment quality and the urbanization entered the stage of high level coordination;At last,the class of Ⅲ that coupling coordination is low,and belong to antagonism stage.(3)The coupling and coupling coordination degree between ecological environment quality and the urbanization have obvious changes on the spatial pattern.The coupling type shows "point-face" distribution,and take Hefei as main center,Wuhan,Nanchang,Changsha as sub-centers are spread outward,the vast majority of coupling types are belong to the antagonism-moderate coordination;In 2004,there are more typies of running-in and high-level coordinating,and the distribution shows multi-centers;In 2008,coupling types are distributed along the axis of the northeast to southwest,and the distribution presents the patter of "both ends are bigger than middle";in 2012,coupling level development quickly,and the distributions shows the type of "point-ring",and taking Wuhan,Changsha,Nanchang,Hefei as the centers,in turn,other types of coupling circle around the center the same as a ring belt.(4)The type of running-in-high level coordination:its level of urbanization and eco-environmental quality indexs that show strong connections between ecological sustainable had the greatest influence on the improvement of urbanization level,and the industrialization of ecological stresses the healthy development of the cities,the population urbanization is the problem of the ecological environment quality improvement;The type of running in high-level coordination type between the level of urbanization and eco-environment quality index as a whole has strong correlations,including ecological sustainable promoted the urbanization level,but the decline of the ecological condition had restricted the development of urbanization,in addition,the population of agglomeration and spatial expansion on the ecological environment quality of resistance;High-level coordination type of antagonism between the level of urbanization and eco-environment quality index as a whole is moderate,so show that the phenomenons of antagonism,environmental pressure caused by extensive industrial development pattern is the most heavy burden,urban development also stand out the influence of urbanization on the eco-environment,because populations and industrial economic competitiveness are weak so the environment pressures within the scope of the environmental bearing capacities;the moderate coordination type of antagonism,these cities have weak correlation between indeies,so show the phenomenons of antagonism harm to the ecological conditions for model development of economy and restrict the level of urbanization,but in the process of urbanization,expanding urban construction area blindly to increase the urbanization speed,in turn,that will harm to eco-environment qualities.
