Casing tong of track iron roughneck is developed by Bohai Equipment LiaoHe Heavy Industry Co.,Ltd.and Northeast Petroluem University.The project is to design an automation make-and-break equipment with compact structure,stable performance,and high coefficient of safety.The general designing scheme of casing tong of track iron roughneck is putted forward on the basis of understanding the developing situation of domestic and international casing tongs.Casing tong of track iron roughneck is mainly including three parts which contains frame,master tong and back-up tong.The 3D structure model of casing tong of track iron roughneck is designed by solidworks software,and the statics simulation to casing tong is investigated by simulation module.The key components of frame,master tong and back-up tong is analyzed on structuess by simulating the actual working condition of the casing tong.So,it makes the design more reasonable after its optimal design and strength check.According to the need of actual work,the hydraulic pressure motor and hydraulic of the casing tongs are chosen and analysed.Thus we accomplished the design of hydraulic system.On the basis of geometry size of clamping mechanism the simulation experiments of slop board curve were carried out by ADAMS.Different simulation curve of torque,force and the angular velocity are obtained.It is concluded that the proper type of slop board curve,enables casing tong to accomplish a successful process of makeup and breakup.
