| Silicone emulsion is a very good fabric finishing agent.Normaly organic silicon water emulsion can be prepared by emulsion polymerization or mechanical method.But most silicone emulsion are produced by mechanical method in inpractice,while the study mechanical mechanical method and the influence of all knids of composition on the emulsion performance is so unsystematic.In this paper,used a hydrophilic silicone emulsion as the target,prepared a series of silicone emulsion by mechani-cal method,and tested their property.The influence of different silicone oil?surface active agent and other additive on the perfprmance of the emulsion were studied.The main research work and achievements are as follows:1,According to the target DC OP 8800,carried on the structure analysis first,then choosed several silicone oil which possess different structure and prepared to emulsion.Discussed the influence of silicone structure on the emulsion properties through test the whiteness,hydrophilic and stabi-lityand hand feel2.Selected a siliconeoil Magnasoft Derma N as the main raw material,and emulsified with vari-ous type and dosage emulsifier.The result showed that formulation have big influence on the emulsion performance:the stability and hydrophilic-city increased,while the hand feel decreased along with the dosage of emulsifier increased;higher HLB value emulsifier cam impart the emulsion better thermal stability,but the use level of the emulsifier is higher also.3.Prepared the basic formulation,then use PEG 200 and octadecyl trimethyl ammonium chlo-ride to improve the property.Found they can improve the hydrophilicity when used separately;but have no cooperative action when used together.4.Some problem maybe occurred during the the silicone emulsion appliacation,shuch as com-bination with cationic fixing agent,used in hard water or storage yellowing,these can be avoided by adding some additive or changing use condition. |
