At present,shearers is one of the core equipments in comprehendsive mechanized mining working face.Development of technology of shearers in our country tends to be mature.Based on development process is divided into traditional design method and new design method.The traditional rese arch and development process of shearer cutting unit mainly by manual cal culation,it has the inefficiency,long research and development period and other defects.To solve this problem,Taking a model of domestic manufactu ring enterprises design and production of the shearer as object,take advant age of the modern design theory,under the LAN environment,exploit the dynamic network programming technology,DBT to built the transmission system for shearer cutting unit.In order to achieve the accurate shearer cuting unit design,verification function.The digital design of transmission system of shearer gear is achieved,not only the design efficiency was improved,but also the design cycle is shorted.Practice shows that system is stable and reliable.Before the system design,at first this study organized the relevant information about the design of the system both at home and abroad,to verify the feasibility of the design system.According to the design datas of shearers and product information that provided by the enterprise,then com bined with the friendly principle,he reasonable,convenient,accurate shearer part design system will be done.Involved design knowledge was stored to knowledge base,to assist the rapid access browse and query functions of data and parameters auxiliary,made the resources of transmission system design knowledge more efficiently.Based on the study,using VS2010 as secondary development tools,C#language as a system implementation language,Combined with ADO.NET as tool to connection the platform and the database.Then integrated on the platform,build a shearer design system.The system included design system of shearer cutting unit,the design system of shearer,the design system of hy draulic oil,knowledge management system.This system mainly uses gear transmission design knowledge,also includes the shearer design,basically meet the design demand of domestic el ectrical traction shearer's existing structure.Through the system testing and example verification of the developed shearer digital design system show that,using this system will improve the design speed of shearer,shorten the design cycle,reduce the work intensity of designer shearer efficient,guarant ee the design accuracy to a certain extent.There is an important theoretical significance and practical value for study of modern design technology of electric traction shearer.
